Written in gallant style, and technically demanding. Continuo realisation by Max Volbers. Gallo was an Italian composer and violinist. He composed mostly church music, including a Stabat Mater, and also violin sonatas, symphonies and possibly violin concertos. Many of his works were once attributed to Pergolesi.
