Based on the Weimarer Kirchenkantaten for alto recorder, oboe, viola da braccio (viola d’amore, violin), viola da gamba (violoncello, viola da braccio) and basso continuo, arranged by Klaus Hofmann.

Taking a cue from Bach’s liberties with his own instrumental compositions, Edition Walhall have added a chamber music work to his oeuvre by combining two instrumental cantata introductions (BWV152 and BWV 18) into a small “concerto da camera”.
