These 5-voice madrigals have been edited by Suzanne Court from the composer's Books IV and V. Compared with his Book I, the rhythms are less complex, but the counterpoint is, if anything, more intense harmonically. For Intermediate to Advanced players: 2 trebles, two alto/tenors (alternate clefs), and bass.
